Topic: windows doesnt load after installing Hammerfall DSP PCI card

hello
I got a Multiface 1 in the mail today with a PCI card (rev 1.7)
after I install the PCI card on my motherboard windows doesn't load and I just get a blank screen
the host light on the multiface is red
I didn't install any drivers
I running windows 7 32bit and I only have one PCI slot in my motherboard (when I take the card out, windows loads again)
can you please help me?

What kind of mainboard is this?

We have some reports of difficulties with H61 based boards and PCI cards, which are likely to be due to the non-native, bridged nature of the PCI implementation here.

Exchanging the card for the PCIe version is an option.

are you sure there isn't anything that can be done with this card? maybe even sending it to get fixed?
