Topic: How to install W7 64bit ASIO?

Trying to complete installs on a new laptop-- got DC, TM and fireface USB installed-- but not at all sure what to do with the fireface_usb_asio_64.dll.

Advice appreciated!

This question makes no sense. Please read the manual, chapters about driver installation and driver updates.

Re: How to install W7 64bit ASIO?

I was under the impression that the "firefaceusb" driver was not 64 bit-- and I would like to use the ASIO 64-bit. I went through the procedure to update to the ASIO 64 driver, but although I chose that driver-- W7 has informed me that "the driver software for my device is up to date." What have I misunderstood?

Re: How to install W7 64bit ASIO?

The mixer and settings apps are 32 bit, no reason for these to be 64 bit. But the driver works perfectly with a 64 bit OS and DAW. No need to do anything special with any of the driver components.
