Topic: Mic and speaker feedback on Babyface

Hi

I have a problem: The vocal-mic is "on" at all times wether I have a track in recordmode or not. And since my mic and studio-monitors are not far from each other I get a feedback when the speakers are at higher volumes.
I have even discovered that the feedback is still there when the computer is shot down. It seems a if there is a direct crossover in the unit ?? 

Info - the mic is an Röde K2 which is an tube mic

Did you mute the mic input in total mix?
Anyway that's strange.

Hi - yes it's even when mute in on in the hardware input in the totalmix ????

Is that really the it is ??
