I plan to build a new Desktop and build a system around the HDSPe AES card. I think I would like to combine it with a digital mixer and controller. What are some of the configurations of current users of HDSPe AES? Do most of you use an RME converter with the AES card for analog connections? I have Samplitude Pro software, but I'm getting tired of their expensive upgrades (latest is $300) and I wouldn't mind switching. I want to put together the best system I can afford.
