Topic: FF400 / Ghost signals with ins 1 and 2

Dear all,

I've recently started getting ghost signals for ins 1 and 2 of the fireface without anything being plugged in. This only stops once I adjust gain to 49 for both channels.
Is this something I should be worried about?

P.S. Sorry for the newbieness of the question, still getting to grips with what only appears to be a fantastic audio interface.

What is the exact nature of these signals? Can you record them?

Thanks for the quick response. It's a low level hiss from 49-50 onwards. Could not record it.

At higher gain settings, an increase of input noise level is normal and natural...
