Topic: Fireface UCX

Hi,
I have a Fireface UCX and use ASIO drivers with Sequoia (Samplitude).
Can i record using the digital input?
I currently only have ASIO selections for analogue channels 1-8.
I don't see a way to reconfigure this in Totalmix.

Congratulation, I think you are the first one with an UCX here.

To get the digital I/O (coaxial SPDIF) in Samplitude you have to enable the checkboxes of this I/O in the ASIO control panel of Samplitude (Y key). This is always done in the ASIO software and not in TotalMix.

Ah yes, silly me - thank you for the quick reply!
I'm sorry i didn't have a better problem to ask about this new box smile
Actually I didn't know this box existed until I called my usual supplier to purchase the old version. Anyway this works great, I like the remote control- although it'd be good to adjust it to control the headphone output, perhaps I have to wait for the advanced remote to do this..?

You can assign the output 7/8 (phones out) to the Main Out of the control room section. Not to forget the option to assign the Prog button to CUE phones to switch the main out to phones or the other way around.
