I've noticed recently that the clock sample rate of my FF800, as indicated in the dialogue box, would "jump about" rather erratically.

For example, my DAW session is set to 44.1, but the dialogue box will show the sample rate as 48 (in red).

Just recently, I saw the sample rate displayed at a ridiculous number of something like 7214567900 and the pitch set to 5%. Errors in the top box was flashing but indicating "0".

Current system is Win7 64bit. All RME drivers updated to latest. Noticed the weird behaviour started only after i installed quicktime recently. Have uninstalled Quicktime but problem remains.

ANy advice if it is a hardware issue or some drivers conflict?
