Topic: Fireface800 internal power supply

I am a new user...

reading the instruction manual i learned that the internal power supply is a switching...

using a non-switching power supply (toroidal power supply etc etc)
could further improve the audio quality of the Fireface 800 ?

I have an old FF800 no longer under warranty,
the power supply is broken (15+ 15- section) ,
I can try to supply with toroidal stabilized instead a new switching power supply ?
