Topic: HDSPe AES not visible on Dell Optiplex 990

HDSPe AES is not visible in Device Manager on Dell Optiplex 990 with Win7 32bit. Updated to latest BIOS ver. A10.
Tried both PCIe slots and card is visible in BIOS/Settings/General/System Information/PCI Information as SLOT4 = Audio.
Called Dell support who said the PCIe slots is not meant to be used for Audiocards only Graphics ?!?!
HDSPe AES works fine on Dell Optiplex 780 with Win7 32bit.

Anyone else who experienced the same problem?

We have had similar problems with an Optiplex 390, there was no real way to make the card work.

Can you get further information from Dell on this?

Talked to Dell again today and now they suggest changing motherboard. Let's see if this will help. I'll let you know.
