You did install the drivers?
Thank you for your quick response Matthias,
I have not installed the drivers because the user guide states 'connect computer and Babyface with the included USB cable.Mac OS X detects the new hardware as babyface(serial number)' . After connection install the drivers.
It looks like you are suggesting that I should install the drivers even though the Babyface is not seen by the computer - is that correct?
Regards
David
Hello drasp,
I have the same config, and I didn't looked at if the bf was detected in the finder or system preferences when I first had connected the bf to the macbook pro.
I installed the drivers from the cd, then upgraded the firmware (and a few days later I found that I forgot to upgrade the drivers as well, it's done now).
Logic recognised the bf when I launched it, and I found it later in System Preferences > Sound as well.
The manual might be wrong here, but without drivers it couldn't work anyway...
Thanks all, looking forward to seeing my Babyface
Best
David
Yeah, installing the drivers is a really good place to start.
Thanks arctic, not if you read the manual it isn't.
