Topic: UFX Question 48v/TRS lights on for no reason....

Hello All,
i just purchased a UFX last week
I have only used it in playback mode via the USB and FW outputs
I have updated all firmware/drivers
I'm running a MacBook Pro OSX 10.6.8 Snow Leopard, @GHz Core i7

the question i have is:

the lights on the front 48v and TRS are both lit
i've checked phantom is off ~ so why is the light lit
no instrument or any other cable is inserted into the machine other than the USB cable
so why is TRS on... TOTAL MIX has instrument and 48v off...

please advise

is there a way to reset the machine to turn these lights off?

maybe because INST is on ?

nope... the inst is off as is the 48v off when you look at Total Mix..

they are on actually when the unit is on and computer is off...
and in that state the onboard control for 48v and instrument are off again...

I fear this is a problem of internal cables that might not be connected or work properly. Please return the unit for check and/or replacement.

Ok sounds good...the only issue I bought it for an upcoming session which starts this coming Thursday...do I need a RA or do I just return it to the place I bought it from?
