Topic: New autoset feature ?

Just wanted to know if the new autoset feature is working for the babyface ?

does it adjust the volume or just turn it down when clipping to  -6db value ?

- No, the gain. When the energy exceeds the -6 dBFS limit in a way that is more secret than the Coca Cola formula.

thks ...lol damn i want to replace my ff400 for a more portable device ....was about to jump on the babyface but the new ucx is wiked but not very portable but  i like the fact that you can choose the connection (usb/firewire) any babyface like that soon ?

No. A Babyface with USB/FireWire would be a complete different device - bigger and more expensive. It would look a little bit like a UCX ...

Danke ....anyone tried an sm7B with the babyface ...i like to record on the go with that .....excellent results with the fireface 400 but the gain is lees important with the babyface ....any feedback ?
