Topic: Problem with Bias Peak, Fireface 800, OSX Lion, 96 KHz.

Hi all!

Yesterday I wanted to record from a tape machine and decided to try 24bit/96KHz instead of the (for me) usual 16bit/44.1KHz.
My configuration: Bias Peak, Fireface 800, MacMini with OSX Lion.
I could record and edit the recording, I saved it and moved it to another computer.
The problem: when I open it, no matter with what program, no matter if on OSX or WinXP, audio is played back at double speed! Today I reopened the files in the machine where yesterday I did recording and editing: Even Peak is playing back at double speed; iTunes = same!

Today I did the following test: Instead of recording inside Peak I recorded inside Cubase 6 (24/96), saved as wav, edited in Peak and saved in wav (instead of aif as I did yesterday). Result: no problem... but just until now!
The wav files that 1 hour ago were playing correctly now play at HALF SPEED! Before it was double speed and now it is half speed!
I was thinking it has to do with aif or Peak but it hasn't. I have no clue!

I am starting to think that the problem is NOT Peak and NOT Cubase but maybe the Fireface or Lion.

If anyone could help me I would really appreciate!

Thanks
