Topic: Question about the Firefade UFX Balanced Line Level Inputs

Hi, question about the 8 Balanced Line Level Inputs at the rear of the unit. After reading the manual I am still confused with the usage of these inputs. A TRS 1/4 connector can transport either a mono Balanced signal or a stereo Unbalanced signal. So I want to make sure that these input can support both? I mean, I could connect 8 stereo unbalanced instruments to these 8 inputs right?

The outputs are balanced mono.

My question was about the inputs. They are balanced mono also? And is it the same thing with all other RME products like the Multiface II ??
