Topic: 32 bit left or right justified?

Hello everyone,

I'm using UFX with Sonar X1 both on my laptop and my desktop...just wanted to know: in Sonar what is the proper setting for "stream 16b data as":

_3 bytes ?
_4 bytes, right justified ?
_4 bytes, left justifed ?
_32 bit PCM, right justified ?
_32 bit PCM, left justifed ?

...can't find the spec in UFX manual so if Someone could help me....

Thanx....

Re: 32 bit left or right justified?

Just use what was set as default when you first installed everything. I forgot what it was, but it's the correct setting (don't have Sonar installed atm).

Re: 32 bit left or right justified?

Sonar 7 is (and all of them that I know of over the years) is 32-bit PCM left-justified.

Now the only way to do an audio test is to be in WDM drivers not ASIO and take a test of your audio card.
I do not know if you can do that, but with the Babyface I could, then I switch to ASIO drivers once all the settings are known.
