Topic: Using the UFX with a Mackie Control surface, track names not showing!

Hi again RME friends,

I have been using my RME UFX with a Mackie Control (MCU Pro) control surface for quite some time now.

For some reason I haven't been able to get the channel names I have set up in TotalMix to show up on the LCD screen of the Mackie. The channel faders are responding properly and syncing with TotalMix, but the track names are not appearing.

I am using the UFX with Logic, on a Mac Pro. Current version of TotalMix, and latest firmware version for the UFX itself.

I would love any help you can offer.

Cheers,
Mike

1. You are not using the latest drivers (TM FX).

2. You have Options / Settings / Enable full LCD support unchecked.

Re: Using the UFX with a Mackie Control surface, track names not showing!

I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers and firmware (with usb connection) for the UFX and I am having the same problem.  No channel names on the MCU Pro.  The screen displays 0's on all the channels of the Mackie.  I have enabled full LCD support as well.  Is there a separate driver for TM FX that I need to download?  I could not find one on the RME website.  Thanks.
