Topic: HDSP 9652 and Yamaha O2R
Hi, I'm thinking of replacing my adatHD24 with a computer and this card running directly to and from my O2R console. Any reason why this wouldn't work? The O2R is a a relic but seems a perfect fit for this card.

Hi,
Yes they work great together. If your on an older G5 Mac or Windows XP/Vista machine then it will be great.
New Intel Macs do not have PCI slots. Current PC system have limited number of PCI slots. Usually only 1 or 2 at most.
If your system has these limitations then the HDSPe Raydat PCI-e card would be the best solution.
Thanks Chris
Thanks Chris, that's what I wanted to hear. I just bought an HPZ800 with plenty of expansion slots.

Hi Chris, I think the raydat might be the better solution. I'm not sure what the major differences are, but I know I won't be needing adat sync. I have the hpz800, I am adding Sonar X1 as my DAW. It's a totally new setup so I want to be make sure the parts are precise. 9652 or Raydat is pretty much the last piece of the puzzle.
