Topic: UFX buffer size and connection

I don't see any buffer size options in my Fireface UFX settings dialog, as described and displayed in the manual.
I'm on v3.06 connected via FW to Mac 10.7.3

Also, any reason why I'd be better off connected via USB vs. FW?

In OSX, buffer size is set in the audio application. You are looking at the windows version of the dialog.

No specific advantage of USB on a good system...

I'm not sure what you mean exactly.
My buffer size is set in my DAW? (PT 10)
Or I'm using the wrong FF settings app?
Or both?
I just downloaded and installed the latest from the rme site again, but dont see any different ff settings app.
also, how can i get synccheck?

You are reading the Windows section. The Mac section will show the different (Mac version) Fireface settings app.

And yes, buffer size is set in the audio app preferences on Mac, so look at the Pro Tools options.
