Topic: Babyface as master

Hi, I'm just beginning to get familiar with the issue of synchronization various devices. My question might be dumb, but I'm really not sure:
should I set Babyface as master clock in Cubase or is it ok to leave the DAW using its internal timecode? And does this question even makes sense?:)

Re: Babyface as master

Clock as related to the Babyface refers to sync of all external digital devices. If you connect some other digital device via the optical I/O on the Babyface, then you need to decide whether the Babyface is master (internal clock) or slave (sync to optical in). If not, just set the Babyface as master.

The time code setting in Cubase is not related to audio device clock/sync.
