Topic: fireface ucx with 2 mac

I'm going to order a new ucx to be connected firwire to my macbookpro using presonus studio one.

I also have a mac pro running protools hd in the studio.

Question:can I connect the mac pro with the usb port and

then install the card on both?

No. Only one computer can use any audio interface.

You can connect to one computer on FireWire, then unplug it and use USB on the other. But the UFX can only stay connected to one Mac at a time.
