Topic: Fireface-800 Manual Uninstall Mac OSX 10.5.8 Leopard

Mac Book Pro  Laptop / OS X/ 10.5.8 Leopard:

There has previously been an installation of a Fireface-800 unit on my system, the software has been uninstalled & I no longer have a fireface-800 or any other RME product in this setup.

When checking through some of the System Libraries; I still see lots of RME references there.

Question:

Is there anything in the database which will show me how to do a manually completely clean my system of RME entries  / OSX 10.5.8 Leopard ?

I am considering purchasing a New Fireface-UFX  for a portable live setup:  don’t want any complications to show up because of remaining traces of fireface-800 in my Mac system folders.

Thanks for your assistance / Garth

Hi Garth,

It won't hurt the UFX install, but here is the list of files: http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=9233

Thanks Jeff / most appreciated !

I was going to post this question in another thread / but just in case you might have the answer;

Question:

If I order a new Fireface UFX or UCX / do both of those units have drivers which will properly run on my OSX 10.5.8 LEOPARD ?

Or; must I upgrade to Snow Leopard or higher to have a successful experience with either of the two above mentioned units ?

Thanks again for your assisatance;

Garth

As you can find on the Downloads page, these devices require OS 10.5 or higher. Leopard is working fine.
