Topic: BabyFace connected to MacBook Pro, causing all audio to speed/pitch up

I have tested my babyface out on an old HP laptop and it works great, but the same test on a brand new macbook pro resulted in all of the audio on the computer sounding like chipmunks (increased speed, pitched up).  I have set the babyface to be the default input and output for sound on the macbook, as well as to play system sounds through it (which I believe have then been disabled entirely, as recommended by a few people on here).  I don't understand why an old laptop would work fine, but a macbook wouldn't.  Also, as far as I can tell all drivers are up to date on both the pc and the macbook.  Thanks guys!

Please try toggling the sample rate in Fireface USB settings on the Mac. It sounds like the preference file needs refreshed.

Looks like your suggestion worked.  Thanks a lot!
