I am finally resorting to the support website after trying many different things to fix a problem ive been having with the Babyface.

Whenever I start my DAW ( FL studio 10 ) everything works fine and sound works great and its on ASIO Fireface USB

However, once i select an  "IN" to record on my mic to the DAW, the entire program no longer gives out any sound whatsoever and the scrolls on the time markers go to an area other than where i click. for example, if on the DAW timeline, i click at where the song should be at 1:00 minutes, the timeline will jump to 4:00 minutes and then skip back.

The VU meter will also show a bit of green volume and then stay stuck frozen in one position. until i restart the program.

this is not just specific to FL studio. I have tried Reaper and I have been having this No Sound problem with Audacity as well.

BUT on total mix FX the microphone picks up and works just fine

yes all drivers are newest update

random notes:
my mic is connected into the quarter inch instrument input.
running on windows xp.
ive gotten it to work before one day but i dont know how it ended up working, and soon after, ive been unable to record again

please help! I love this interface but i am starting to regret buying it
