Topic: Stereo inputs and outputs for hdsp 9632

Hello all, Please can you confirm the 9632 comes with 1 stereo I/O, and with the AI4S & AO4S I'll achieve A maximum of 6 (including the stereo I/O of the card) Inputs and/or outputs CORRECT? will these all be stereo I/O????..... as I want to use it with some dvs (digital vinyl systems) ie: traktor scratch pro and possibly some pioneers cdj's (cd mixers)

With these expansion cards you'll have 6 mono in and 6 mono out.

Thanks for the reply would mono be ok as I need (4x stereo I/O) to mix up to 4 decks (Turntables & cdjs) via an external DJ mixer or to route signals to outboard effects???

6 mono = 3 stereo

thanks for the reply Jeff anyway of achieving 4 I/O stereo with the RME 9632 card then?? Need to obviously do some research on the fundamentals of stereo and mono. thanks

You'll need an external converter that supports ADAT or SPDIF in order to add more channels.
