Hi,

Sometimes, my VST host program crashes, and after a crash, the audio drivers do not "release" for up to 5 minutes.  During this period, I cannot restart the VST host program because the drivers are busy.  Is there a way to force the audio drivers to "release," or "reset" immediately after the crash?  This is not really an RME-specific problem, but since RME drivers are amongst the best out there, I figured someone here might be able to help.  I think this is a Windows issue, perhaps related to Windows 7 specifically.  I heard there might be a registry hack for this, but have been unable to find it.
