Topic: HDSP 9652 Driver question

Hello all;

First time post here.

I purchased a used HDSP 9652 PCI card. I have installed it in my computer, and it says that the device is working correctly. However it cannot be opened in any of the audio apps I have (Nuendo 2, Sound Forge 10). It is a rev1.5, and I have the 3.27 driver installed. I cannot update the frimware, the mixer won't open????

I have searched a lot around here but can't find a definitive answer.

Am I using the correct driver???

Thanks in advance

Tony

Re: HDSP 9652 Driver question

Are you sure it's the HDSP 9652 and not the DIGI 96/52? The model is printed on the PCB.

Re: HDSP 9652 Driver question

Yes. I believe I made a mistake, and that it is a DIGI 96/52. Ok, now that I am sure of what the card is, do I need to get rid of whatever I have previously installed, or can I just load the proper driver for the card. The mixer and "DSP" thing show up in the tray. The system is running XP SP3.

Thanks for pointing out my 'Boneheadedness" if there is such a word.

Re: HDSP 9652 Driver question

You can just use Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel to uninstall the apps. Drivers for the DIGI card are here:
