Topic: babyface: Sync but no Sound on s/spif out

Hi there,
I'm trying to connect my babyface via SPDif to my m-audio fast-track ultra (optical out on babyface, opt-coax-Converter, coaxial in on fast track). However, there is sync, but no sound.  Fast Track gets the Clock signal from the babyface. TotalMix shows no signal when I 'm routing signals to AS1/2. Is this a sign that something is wrong with my cables or converter? or should I see some signal in Totalmix even if there's no valid spdif connection and this is a problem I'm having inside TotalMix?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

TM doesn't know whether or what is connected to your SPDIF output. So forst of all you should be looking at getting signal in TM. Also macke sure the optical output is switched to SPDIF, not ADAT.
