Topic: HDSP card + Multiface (original) with ExpressCard to CardBus adapter?

Hi,

I'm using my great HDSP card + Multiface (original version) for many years, but need to updated my laptop. I was thinking of using an ExpressCard to CardBus adapter like this http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Expr … y_e_img_b, so that I can connect it e.g. to a Thinkpad x200 (http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=4497).

Therefore I wanted to ask:
- is it possible or a good idea to use a cardbus interface through and expresscard adapter?
- does the hdsp card + multiface I work well with windows 7 32b or 64b?
- anything else I should consider in this equation?

Thanks,

We do not test or officially support the use of adapters. It will be trial/error or hit/miss... The RME HDSPe Expresscard is the direct connection and and recommended interface.

Ok. But do you know of any reports of it working/not working? Also, if the old pcmcia works well with windows 7, and which versions of it?

We have no reports and do not collect data. The Cardbus card works fine with W7, no known problems....
