Topic: HDSP 9652 externally clocked and ADAT

Hello,

I'm having an issue with the RME 9652 where
I can't get the audio in. 

The 9652 is being clocked via word clock from
a Black Lion Sparrow MKII.  The sync is indicated
as being accepted, external + word within the
RME control panel.  Clockrate is 96kHz.

The BL Sparrow is also feeding an ADAT cable
from it's output into the 9652.  I can't get it to
lock or sync and I'm unsure if the Sparrow sends
clock via ADAT as well as word clock.

I've tried ADAT 1, 2, and 3, (inputs 1/2, 5/6, and 8/9)
as well as multiple cables. 

The Sparrow does not have an ADAT in as it is
only a ADC.

Any clues in this situation?

The Sparrow does not have ADAT out, the optical port is SPDIF format. In HDSP settings, change SPDIF In setting to the ADAT 1, then connect the Sparrow to this port. The signal will be available in TotalMix and the software apps on SPDIF In.

That was indeed the case.  Got all excited and in the moment working
that I just remembered to come back and thank you for the solution.
