Topic: What card ADAT to use with a ramsa da7

Hi all i'm new here,
I just bought a Ramsa wr-da7 with adat cards i want use this console for mixing only, i use samplitude 11 and i would like to get pro tools 9 or 10 i will use waves plugins around 3 per channel so my question is:
Can i use a digi9652 pci without problems or is it necessary to get the raydat for a best performance? i don't have much money to spend in a card right now.

If you are referring to the old (non-HDSP) Digi9636/52, please mind that it will only run on 32-bit operating systems, i.e. not on W7 64. And not on current macs, obviously.

But what about the latency in this card is there any problem? it does not affect the quantity of plugins that i can use?

What the differences between digi 9632/52 and the newer hdsp?

Latency is not a specifically a card-inherent thing... It is the time given to the application to perform its tasks, including all plugins etc.
The HDSP cards add MIDI and an onboard mixer.
