I'm using UFX with MBP 13in(Puchased 2009). All the firmware, and the drivers are up-to date. OS is 10.7.

As I put AES signal in to UFX with firewire, I can see the signal coming in through Totalmix and the front panel.
But as other users reported on MIDI signal, it is not going into the DAW at all.
I can see the noise floor of the analog input 1-8 coming in to DAW. But Mic input and the AES In do not come into the DAW.
If I route the AES in directly to AES out using Matrix or Total Mix, then it seems to work well.

Playing a file from DAW through AES out (13/14) is not working either. However, if I send the signal to any other output but AES in the DAW, for example, analog 3/4, then set the analog 3/4 goes through the AES out using Matrix, or Total Mix, it works.

With USB, everything is working fine.

It seems to me that there is some routing bug in the FPGA that prevents AES I/O from being used by DAW.
It coincides the experience on MIDI signal that other users had.
