Topic: UFX modification for ARC

I guess I am one of the lucky early adopters of the UFX and it's serial number
is low enough that I need to have it modified to take advantage of the new remote.

I purchased my UFX through Sweetwater here in the states.
What is the best (fastest) way to get the mod done? Send it
to Sweetwater? , or will they just send it off to get the work done?

How much is the mod expected to cost?
What exactly is the modification (what gets updated or changed)?

Hi,

please contact Synthax USA (www.synthax.com). They offer a bundle of ARC + modification. Synthax will do the mod (replacing a digital circuit board) and send it back to you including the ARC in 2-3 days. The price for ARC + modification is around 199,-. 

They can give you a date for the modification and the availability of the ARC in the US.

I just purchased the ARC from Long & McQuade here in Canada - did I miss out on getting the ARC+mod deal?

I was planning on sending the UFX to Music Marketing through L&M for the mod - should I send it to synthax myself instead? What will be quicker?

Please give Music Marketing a call. They are handling the modification for Canada and know what to do.
