Select the FF400 as the output device in your software app and/or Control Panel > Sound menu.

Windows 7 calls the first pair (AN 1+2) Speakers.
Do you mean to "speakers (2-RME FireFace 400)"?
I try it and it doesn't work
i just found this link http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7304
...but the guy who posted the legacy driver link doesnt work.
maybe this is the problem?
No. Try using the external power supply if you currently use bus power, or vice versa.
I need to buy power external supply? What is the vice versa?!
I spent 8 hours to figure out what is the problem,I spent almost 1800$ on this soundcard and now you are telling me to go buy external supply power?!
No need to buy anything. Have a look inside the package, the external PSU is included.
However, since the analog inputs show incoming signal, the unit does seem to be working fine.
I would suspect a configuration issue of sorts, but you can always try the PSU anyhow.

I did not realize the unit is brand new.
Reset the Fireface Mixer (hold CTRL and click Preset 1 button), in case the routing scheme is corrupted. Next, please try a quick loopback test, connect analog out of the FF400 to analog in on the FF400. Then check the Fireface Mixer and see if output signal shows up in the top row (inputs). If so, then the problem is not in the FF400, and you'll have to explain more about the monitoring system.
i did everything you mention and it still doesnt work.
there is anyway that my motherboard doesnt fit? or BIOS problem?
my motherboard is http://www.gigabyte.com/products/produc … id=3768#ov
i install the lastest drivers.
The pictures in your post #3 show working playback...
When you say "no sound", where is it that you would like to hear sound? What ist connected to which outputs of the FF400?
Please give us more than "doesn't work" and "no sound". We can't see what you are doing.
