Topic: How can I change intrument input level?

I'm trying to record some vinyl into logic using a fireface UFX and can't work out how to make small adjustments to the input level.
I've chosen the -10dbv setting that seems to be about right, but very occasionally the input peaks above zero, so I want to turn the input gain down a little bit so it doesn't clip.
My phono pre amp doesn't have a volume, and I can't work out how to change the level coming into the UFX (other than choosing +4 dBu, which would result in a much lower signal).
I feel pretty stupid for asking this as I'm sure this must be the most basic feature on this really nice bit of kit, but I really can't for the life of me work out how to do it!
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: How can I change intrument input level?

The +4 setting is the only way to do this - gain can't be "turned down" otherwise.
Even if the setting results in lower levels, there is nothing to worry about, you can normalize digitally later, if required.

Thanks Daniel.
