Topic: multiple HDSP MADI cards in one machine

Hi
can both HDSP & HDSPe MADI cards live in harmony in one single computer, or do they need to be of the same slot type ?
I just bought a HDSPe MADI and will shortly need a second one, but I only have "regular" free PCI slot left

Hi Bertrand,
You can use up to 3 of any combination of HDSP PCI and PCI-e cards in a system. As long as you your system can handle the resources/bandwidth of the 2 or 3 MADI cards then it will work fine.

You will need to word clock the 2 cards to each other. WC Out of card 1  to WC In on card 2. set the 2nd card on auto sync.
