Topic: Issue with Routing to channels 9/10 and 11/12

I'm routing my tracks from within Ableton Live (8.3) on my Macbook Pro (2.2gHz i7, 8GB 1333MHz) to the RME UFX Fireface unit.

When I route tracks to stereo channel 9/10, it sends them to 13/14.
When I route them to 11/12, it sends them to 15/16.
And so on...

One minute it was all working fine, the next minute, those channels are just gone, and I can't get them back. Has anyone else had this issue? I've updated drivers, firmware, and even got the new TotalMix, but it hasn't fixed it. I've restored the to other "Workspaces" that worked fine before, but now the channels are gone.

Any ideas? Anyone else had something similar?

Oh... and to eliminate the possibility that Ableton Live is having problems (quite likely usually!), I've also tried routing to these tracks from Logic. Same issue.

Have you updated to 10.7.4 recenty?

Yes, it appears I have. F#$kin' Lion again?!

Would there be a work-around? It appears that 27-28 is now going to 9-10 and 29-30 is going to 11-12. I guess I just have to reorder my mixes.

Can RME contact Apple about the bug or is that up to me?

Today's workaround: use the latest FireWire driver

Post 8. We will release the updated USB driver including the channel fix in a few days.
