Topic: Strange FF800 ADAT problem: ADAT output is off by one stereo pair

Strange ADAT problem:  ADAT output is off by one (one stereo pair)

So, the analog and ADAT inputs in on my FF800 are passign audio from the input to the corresponding output correctly.  That is great.  (with total mix set to pass the input directly to the output)

The output of 1-8 are outputting to the correct hardware output.

Here is the weird thing:  The outputs of the ADAT are two channels off (one stereo pair).  I'll give an example.
I output to ADAT 1-2 in my DAW, for it comes out on the total mix output on ADAT 3-4.  All the ADAT outputs are off like this, and I had to use the matrix to re-route the ADAT 3-8 to the physical output ADAT 1-6.  And I can't output from ADAT 7-8 at all.

In two different DAW's (Logic 9.1.7 and Audition CS6) the outputs are working like this, I tell it to output to ADAT 1-2, and the freaking meters on the total mix light up on ADAT 3-4.
And I have tried with with TWO different Fireface 800's.

Does anybody have a clue what is going on here?  I used this setup just about a month ago with no problem what so ever.
