Your DAW will have minimum hardware requirements. Your music production requirements will dictate how much more than minimum requirements you should choose to pay for. For example, minimum requirements are fine for a singer-songwriter who records vocals and piano or guitar demos and nothing more. If you compose for film and use a lot of sample-based software instruments a lot more RAM and faster mulit-core processor will be necessary.

The Babyface will be fully compatible with any new Dell PC running Windows 7. Be sure to review the Windows 7 Installation notes and check out some of these helpful links to get started with your Babyface:
