So I just recently got an Avalon 747 and before I've been recording straight into my fireface 400 for a while now.  Being a "in the box" guy, I have a couple questions. 

1. If I wanted to bypass the fireface pres, Use the Avalon preamp and only use the FF's converters where would I run it through the balanced line inputs in the back?

2. If I wanted to use the avalon compressor or eq on a mix in my DAW how would I set it up to work through my FF since everything on my computer goes in and come out through my FF?
