Topic: HDSPe AIO dropouts on quad speed digital outputs

Hi everyone,

I'm seeing a problem with the HDSPe AIO (driver version 3.27, hardware revision 12) using the Windows kernel streaming drivers.
I will occationally see a dropout on both digital output channels when playing a sine wave in quad speed:

It rarely happens at 176400 Hz sample rate, but more frequently happens at 192000 Hz.
I see this on both AES and SPDIF digital outputs.
I am using Windows 7 64-bit Professional.
Any tips on what I could try next to help identify the problem?
Am I hitting the limits of this sound card?

Best regards
Russell

Set the buffer size in the Settings dialog to the highest value.

Setting to a higher buffer size does help, but even at 4096 it will have an occational dropout.

The latency checker tool shows it's OK.
