Topic: routing problems?

I haven't recorded in a while.  It worked with my Babyface, the last time I tried.

FYI, running Win 7/64 with the latest driver and firmware (installed today).

Trying to record from turntable.  Only one speaker has sound, but in TotalMix, both AN1 and AN2 show changing recording levels.  If I play something through iTunes, I have sound through both speakers.  So, I think I can rule out problems with both the turntable and the speakers.  The issue is not the DAW software, either.  I think it is related to how I have TotalMix set up.

Any suggestions?

I can add one more thing...
In TotalMix, both AN1 and AN2 show signals when the faders are up.  However, in the hardware inputs row, there is no AN1/2 assignment at the bottom of the AN1 channel.
