Topic: UFX converters/ setup calibration /+4dBu=?dBFS

I am trying to calibrate my set up :
i know for example that with and PT HD interface -18dBFS (digital) = +4dBu (analog) = O Vu

What is the equivalent fot the UFX, i don't really get it from the manual
Is it fair to say that :
in +4 dbu mode: +4dBu = -9dBFS

if i switch to LoGain: +4dBu= -15dBFS (why is it called LoGain, it is a lot more electricity going out than in +4dBu mode).

Sorry, i am confused.

Anybody could help ?

thx

Re: UFX converters/ setup calibration /+4dBu=?dBFS

-18, +4 = +22 dBu for full level.

UFX: +19 dBu for full level. +4 dBu here is -15 dBFS.

LoGain is called Lo Gain because with a high input signal the reciever needs less gain. The output of the UFX is called HiGain...

Re: UFX converters/ setup calibration /+4dBu=?dBFS

Ok im having the same issue.  Just so i'm clear:  When the UFX is set to +4 dBu mode, recording at -15 dBfs (rms) is the sweet spot? For the analog inputs 1-8 and 9-12?
