Topic: ganged output faders not remembered in UCX stand alone mode?

I noticed that a fader group is not stored to / remembered in the ucx  device.
Is this intentional or am I doing something wrong?

Scenario:
Using my new UXC to filter and control mains speakers with a  subwoofer.
Put main speaks on an 1+2, SW on 3+4, ganged the faders (turning them red in Totalmix)
Like this I can High Pass Filter the main speakers in Totalmix, their signal is not degraded by passing through the SW.

Works like a charm, but NOT in stand-alone mode.
(Using latest FW and W7 driver.)

I saved the config to the device using the menu in  Totalmix.
Switch off the computer, and loaded the saved configuration using the UCX control knob.
Now everything is restored, EXCEPT the ganged faders.
So effectively I cannot use the device to control a subwoofer using standalone mode.

Any advice?

Re: ganged output faders not remembered in UCX stand alone mode?

I now read here that it should work (post 7429)
on the UFX according to Matthias.
So I tried again.
Fader group is line 1/2 + 3/4, so 1/2 is in the group.

Stored it as fader group 1
saved state in device on preset 1
Loaded the state in the UCX
I selected line 3 in the display of the UCX to check if line 3/4 is linked to 1/2 now.
Everything works as advertised, faders are ganged and controllable with the remote control.

As soon as i pull the USB cable, line 3/4 does not follow the remote control or control know for 1/2 anymore.
I now have to separately set line 1/2 and line 3/4
When I plug in the USB cable, the fader group works again, but now with unequal volumes
(it just gangs the faders using the volumes last set in stand-alone mode)

My conclusion: fader grouping does not work in stand-alone mode.
So the UCX is not usable as a stand-alone 2.1 controller.

Did I find an error or do I do something wrong?

Thanks for any help.
