Trying to sort out some recording latency issues. Updated my HDSPe card to driver version 3.29 and tried to run the latest firmware update. It shows I have Hardware Revision 55 with status Not Updated. But when I click on update it changes to Failed. Kind of in the dark here. Any recommendations?
v55 is current for HDSP PCI, sounds like you downloaded the wrong FUT. You need the updater for PCIe.
Duh, it's worse than that—I have the PCI version, not the PCIe. :roll I recently upgraded my Mac to a Mac Pro, so I had to upgrade all my Mac cards to PCIe, and in my little mind my PC somehow also fell into that category. Getting old is a drag.
In that case, don't worry. The FUT will fail when you try to flash the same version that is already on the card.
