Topic: use Multiface II with Fireface UCX

is it possible to use the Multiface II as 8 additional inputs to the Fireface UCX via the ADAT out on Multiface, but without a PCI card or computer connection to the MultifaceII? Using Apple MacBook to Firewire or USB connect to the UCX. Also if it is possible to gain 8 inputs this way will they show up in the Fireface UCX DSP mixes and Sub mixes??  Thanks T

Disappointing. What RME product do you recommend for this purpose? Adding 8 input via ADAT optical to the Fireface UCX that allow 16 chns in DSP mix?  Thanks

Octamic, Micstasy, ADI-8 DS or QS. Or another FF UCX in standalone mode.
