Topic: Fireface UC - installation mistake

It seems I have done someting wrong sad Have clicked on firefaceusb.exe on cd and installed the file before connecting UC box with my Dell W7 x64. Please can someone tell me what I should do now to remove firefaceusb.exe and start installation on proper way? What is the best way to proceed now? I'm scared that I will mess up drivers! Please help!

Clicking on exe files will not install drivers, but also won't do any harm.

Many thanks Daniel, problem is that I now have 'Fireface settings' (with RME logo) displayed down on the right side of the taskbar, and can not remove it or do anything with it... ?

can you not just uninstall what you have put on and start again, alternatively restore your pc back to before you did the install.

Don't worry.  Just do the installation according to instructions.  If you like, restart the computer first.
