Topic: Multiface & Macbook mid 2007

Hello,
I have a multiface and now that i've bought a used macbook (mid 2007) i don't know how to get it working together. I have the PCMCIA card but macbook doesn't have any PCMCIA slot.

So, is there any driver to be able to connect it directly using the Firewire cable, or can i get a similar solution working?

Thank you very much,

Re: Multiface & Macbook mid 2007

I  want to add that i have two interfaces for the Multiface: the PCI card, and the PCMCIA (but not the  cardbus).

Is there any way to connect some of them to the macbook???
Thanks in advance,

Re: Multiface & Macbook mid 2007

I'am afraid without the thunderbolt port of the current Macbooks it's not possible.

best regards
Knut

Re: Multiface & Macbook mid 2007

Only the Macbook Pros from 2007 have the Expresscard /34 slots necessary for the HDSPe Expresscard to connect the HDSP hardware boxes. You can only use USB or Firewire interfaces with the regular Macbook models.

PC1 = HDSPe PCIe: DF-ADI-8 DS / HDSPe PCIe: MF2
MBP = HDSPe Expresscard: MF1
