Topic: Might be a sticky one

Hi there,

i don't know if other people stumbled upon this problem, but here it is:

I noticed a clicking sound on my left line in (Babyface). I tried to buy new toslink cables for my ADA8000, because clicking sounds often refer to a bad ADAT or SPDIF connection, but that didn't work.
Eventually, i disconnected the MIDI IN cable on the babyface and the clicking dissapeared. So as far as i know, you can not use the left analog in and the midi in input at the same time. Maybe this will help other people identify their problem.

Thanks.

You can if you don't use the extension cable, or replace the broken one that you seem to have with a new one. Mentioned several times in this forum already.

I replaced the extension cable, but the clicking sound is allways there, if i connect a midi keyboard.

Make sure that you don't screw in the cable too tight. And if you did already then remove the cable, unscrew the screw part on the Babyface and then screw it back in (but not overly tight) and then attach the cable (again not overly tight).
