Topic: HDSPe AIO/5.1 Surround Sound

Hi All,

I have a DAW that produces 5.1 surround sound. I also have a 5.1 receiver/amp with an optical spdif input. I simply want to know if the HDSPe AIO can transfer the information from all channels via the optical output to my receiver. If not, what else would be required to make this happen? Don't let me become this guy! DeadHorse

You need encoding into AC-3 (Dolby Digital) to work with multiple channels over SPDIF. This is not part of our hardware/drivers.
