Topic: HDSPe AIO with 5.1/7.1 surround?

Hello everyone,

Just would like to know that if the AIO can support the 5.1/7.1 surround by digital output(Optical/ADAT)?

I checked the manual and it said 5.1 in Multichannel topic and 7.1 in WDM topic, but don't know if I can get 5.1/7.1 directly by digital interface.

You can play back up to 7.1 from the corresponding source - DVD etc. You can NOT encode (play back) a separated multichannel playback into a digital surround format (AC-3) directly.
